Nice cleats
These are the best and most sturdy T-rail cleats you can buy. They hold a dock line with ease, make a great spot to tie decoys and other things to when not needed, and also make a great spot to tie an anchor off to. I was concerned that the two small bolts holding the cleats on wouldn’t be strong enough for an anchor tie off point but getting an anchor stuck in rocks on the bottom proved me wrong! I was using my motor to try and pull my anchor free in every direction finally had to cut the rope. Checked out the cleat and bolts after that and the cleat didn’t even budge. So now I have a lot more faith in them for more than a basic dock tie up. And have no problem tying off my anchor to them in the heavy current of the MO river. My only gripe is one of the two cleats came with an EVA foam backing pad and one didn’t.
